| Hope.. Did he believe in true hope? It was hard to tell. It seemed almost impossible to decide whether or not hope existed in his heart when he looked down at the lifeless body of another person, knowing that their murderer was hiding among them. It could be Hibiki, simply playing the bears game. Or Jack, putting them all through a ruse of heroism. Jun, who would know exactly how to get away with it. Iris, Kairu, Emile, even Yuukyoku, who was now preaching in believing hope. Or.. perhaps it wouldn't be a leap in logic to believe he was the killer of this boy. This was a cruel game that could make even the most peaceful mind scorn hope. However, that was the true battle here. And uphill trek to avoid losing hope.
Noticing his "friend" with seafoam colored hair making her way towards the exit. His mind went back and forth for a few seconds on whether or not he should say something, until finally, with narrow eyes, he spoke up.
"Shima.." It only made sense, didn't it. There weren't many people here who looked the part, and if she wasn't going to help with the investigation anyway.. "Why don't you guard the body? I'm sure someone athletic could intimidate anybody who'd want to tamper with the body, right?"
In all honesty, the artist didn't really expect her to listen, but if she did, than that'd.. well, it'd sure be nice. Maybe not for anyone who'd have to guard with her, though. After calling the tennis pro out, he walked towards Jun. He moved, and spoke with a much less imposing tone than he did with Hibiki.
"Also, Mr. Yamazaki, if you wouldn't mind.. I'd like to aid you in this investigation however I can. I won't slow you down." Or at least, he hoped he wouldn't. |

[/i] At the sound of hearing her voice called Hibiki (who had all but left the room for a reason, so people couldn’t call her back Hibiki froze at the words spoken by the artist and if she had been facing anybody she may have looked quite pale. Stay here? With the dead guy? That wasn’t anywhere near what she wanted to do and he was trying to force this on her? Naoya was kind of a petty jerk, but to her credit Hibiki didn’t turn to look at the rest of the group until she was sure she had her composure settled and her voice was pretty steady, although once she spoke something seemed just a bit off about the tennis pro that most may not be able to pick up on. "Well, I mean..." Scratching the back of her head as she tried to think of a reason beyond “oh god don’t make me do this” as to why she couldn’t stay here with Zephyr’s corpse, the green haired woman jerked a thumb over her shoulder towards Daniel and Irish who had both audibly volunteered for guard duty so why was Naoya trying to make her do it, what was he up to? "Those two already volunteered for it, right? So there’s no reason for me to hang around and do nothing with a dead body in the room, is there?”Oh shit, she was so flustered at the thought of being trapped here with a dead body Hibiki forgot she was supposed to have an accent stupid, stupid. Shaking herself back to clarity, Hibiki crossed her arms across her chest and glared in the direction of the artist who tried to give her orders because who the hell did this fucker think he was? Who died and pu- bad choice of words, let her rephrase. Who voted him leader and the boss of her? Certainly not Hibiki. "'Sides. I gotta few places I wanna poke round in 'fer someone's fucktoy makes us do this trial thing. Kay?" Making it clear that it wasn't so much a question as a statement, Hibiki waved casually over her shoulder as she headed for the exit, ready to leave these people and this scene as far behind her as it could get as quickly as possible before somebody roped her into doing something she really didn’t want to do ""With that said, I'm goin off on my own fer a bit. Try not ta mess up too bad, yeah?"As the tennis player started to leave, she paused just momentarily as the artist approached the stupid detective fuck and it was all she could do not to roll her eyes. Did he seriously not listen to a thing she so generously warned him against when it came to trusting these people? Narrowing her eyes first at the two of them and then around the room in general, because one of these fuckers was a murderer after all, and decided to give them all one last super subtle reminder of that fact. "An' like I said, make sure to watch yer backs. Ya never know where tha knife's comin from until they stick it in ya."And with that she picked up the pace on her exit, making sure to leave before someone bitched at her again about guarding or having a partner to investigate. She had never done well as part of a doubles set, solo was more her game. [/ul]

Daniel kinda tuned out to Jun's rant. No matter what the detective said, Daniel was gonna do everything it took to find Zephyr's killer and bring them to justice. He also decided to stay with the body because, well, he was too lazy to explore. Luckily for him Iris decided to join him. Maybe they could have a nice chat or two, circumstances aside.
When Hibiki later then pointed to the body watch with her thumb, Daniel instinctively nodded. "She's right, Naoya.", Daniel stated. "Why not let her explore? Me and Iris will make sure nobody tampers around with the body." He turned to Iris. "Isn't that right, Iris?"
He could only hope that everyone else is going to be given enough time for the investigation, so that the trial could be brought on without a hitch. Depending on how they solved the trial, or IF they solved it, he would decide to trust the others more.

I'd rather trust and regret than doubt and regret The barrage of words, speeches and pleas kept going on to the presumed pleasure of their game master. The whole situation began to bore the detective. Well, that was if it wasn't for a slip up any less observant person. "It would appear Hibiki Shima is faking an accent, I'll have to press on the mater later on. There has to be a reason.." Not letting the thought wander too far he quickly snapped back to the topic at hand
To his pleasure 2 people had volunteered to stay on guard duty, meaning he had the freedom to go where he wanted. But before he could press on with his ventures the artist had approached him. "Also, Mr. Yamazaki, if you wouldn't mind.. I'd like to aid you in this investigation however I can. I won't slow you down." He tilted his head slightly at the request, what could he gain by following the detective? Well it didn't matter to Jun. Someone to mutter his thoughts to was a pleasant idea, though he'd just throw them into the air regardless, someone else in the room could provide another perspective on things. He smiled and replied by slamming his hand onto the artist's shoulder "Consider your request granted mister Akamura, I trust you will be able to keep up, hmm?" He gave a friendly smile. "If you don't mind I have a few places I'd like to go to regarding the case."

"LETS GO!” Kairu roars whilst darting his arm forward with a single finger pointing triumphantly towards the Space Hangar exit. At heart, this upcoming journey of discovery was not ideal for the Archaeologist. But if it meant getting out of this hangar and evading a boring recently deceased body, Kairu was game! Also that and the other students were acting in a way that made Kairu unsure on how to communicate further with them. The remaining living blue haired guy was bickering with the incomprehensible green haired girl. Jack the hero was trying to start a social club with Monokuma instead of kicking its butt heroically, Emilie was going detective mode, the white haired guy was being weird and smile happy, the red haired girl was still being overly tearful and there was a hope speech from the white haired girl. At this point Kairu was beginning to summarise he needed to actually start remembering everyone’s names and fill them within his discovery journal.
However by surprise, the overly tall student approached the archaeologist. One look at the overbearing man’s face was enough to cause Kairu to squirm slightly and avoid direct eye contact, his face looked like it originated from an old school horror movie, not that Kairu watched many horrors to begin with. But the bruising, swelling and broken set of glasses upon his imperfect face was a shocking sight to behold. What the heck happened to him? Did he get in a tiff with the robotic dog?
Either way, this guy had the vocabulary to charm the young boy, Kairu slowly released a simple smile upon hearing that ever so wonderful word ‘Discover.’
“I see, so you wish to become a discovery pal?” Kairu chuckles for a brief moment, but really this chuckle was to distract how happy he was as water begun to slightly fill his eyes. “Who am I refuse to such an offer? Despite your overly questionable face, I would be DELIGHTED TO TAKE YOU ON BOARD!”
On closer inspection, Kairu begun to recognise this gentleman from day one within the dome. He remembered noting that this guy didn’t speak much initially, quickly Kairu opened up his journal to day one in the dome and examined his notes with much enthusiasm. Scanning page one, the young Archaeologist yells “EUREKA!” as he finds his notes on this student. Thankfully at the time Kairu had managed to write down his name and talent. Kairu could now sigh with relief knowing he did not need to ask the awkward question of ‘What is your name again?’
“GOOD TO HAVE YOU ON BOARD ALEXANDER! I am sure your Ultimate Luck will be a great asset to our discoveries!”
Good job Kairu, nailed it!

[googlefont="Boogaloo"][googlefont="Great Vibes"] PERFECTION IS THE CHILD OF TIME and i will be that child | Overly questionable face? Oh right. He fell. How terrible of an imperfect being he was. He was bound to make so many mistakes now that he knew and would not fight the imperfection any longer. After all, he was hopeless, and he knew it. But these others, especially this cute white haired boy had potential and he would help harvest it. Of course, when Kairu shouted eureka and then called him by the fake name he had given, Raiden chuckled slightly shaking his head and pushing his glasses up again.
"Ah yes. Here is another thing for you to discover about me: my name is actually Raiden Yagami. Ultimate Basketball Player. That name was a fake one I gave to everyone upon first meeting." That was always the best way to start out things, then again, who cared if that statement was perfect. He would never be perfect. But he still needed to show Kairu how to be perfect, things to say that would be perfect. Discover seemed to be a keyword when dealing with Kairu, and that was something very… good to know. It would make his relationship with Kairu easier to control, and hopefully to sway this relationship to something positive. Then again, every good relationship he ever had, soured. Oh it was his fault. He knew it. Everything was his fault.
"I don't suggest you leave without a partner, Hibiki," Raiden said in a sing song sort of voice. He laughed and jolted forward, at instant top speed to stop right in front of Hibiki. "I'd rather not see someone as… ahem, perfect as you as dead as Zephyr. While you may be a perfect beauty in death," Oh god, what was he saying, oh right, he was trying to get her to go with a partner, "However, it would still be a... sad occurrence. I won't let you leave without a partner. I'm sure you can protect yourself, but we have to make sure you don't kill anyone. You don't trust us, which is smart, but we don't trust you either. You wouldn't want to be blamed for this murder, now would you?" Raiden smiled, continuing to stand in front of her no matter where she moved. Given Raiden's power of 'observation' getting around him would be difficult for him, but he wasn't planning on letting her leave unless someone left with her.

Okay first step is to find out if what this bear is. Maybe this can be easy and I can find a weakness that I can exploit. I mean every villain that he has seen in games and tv has had one and he would think that a bear would be no different. Later he knew he was going to have to see if the dog also had something he could exploit or maybe a way to control him. Though for a person to do all this he must have some sort of defense that will make this difficult other then the dog.
Jack try's to look at the bear to see if maybe there is something he can exploit while still trying to talk to him and see if he can find out anything that could help him.
"so Monokuma I'm am intrigued by this place and am wondering if maybe you can tell me more about this place."

Lindsay was glad that Iris had recovered a little bit, but as strange as it was, her eyes left the cute red haired girl. Ultimate Reporter mode had activated and she was absorbing everything she could. Daniel and Iris were going to guard the corpse, which was probably for the best. Raiden was acting strange. He did seem to have very different values then most people. Perhaps this death had broke him in some way? If so that was very much not a good thing. Raiden was probably among the smartest people here. Raiden seemed to be having some sort of conflict with awesome busty green haired girl-Hibiki Shima. She should probably stop this.
"Hey it's ok everyone! I can be your partner Hibiki. I promise I won't get in your way. I am used to just following and watching-as a reporter of course! And your probably way stronger then me and better athletically. So if I was the murderer you could beat me no problem. So there really is no reason to fight." Lindsay said in her cutest possible persona. Being with Hibiki would be an advantage. Hibiki was way stronger then her and was super hot too. Lindsay should be safe with her and they probably could get some good evidence. Plus she was preventing a fight and gaining more brownie points with the group. It was a win from every angle.
As tragic as this was. The investigation and trial could be kinda fun. It was a lot like her job in some ways, after all.

Kaoru sat down, leaning towards the wall, looking at the corpse. He hadn’t really looked at it much before. How tragic it was, a body whose life had been stolen from it by one of them. A few tears fell from his eyes as he looked at it. He knew that they had to find the culprit at any cost, but even then, he only felt pity for them. For how they had been driven to this. Lost in thought, he didn’t notice anything going on around him. Thinking about what the future had in store for him & the others.
Without a word he stood back up, doing nothing at all but looking down at the floor. After a while he finally looked up with an unusually serious expression. “Let’s work together as best we can, we need to avenge Zephyr…” He closed his eyes for a few seconds. “We can’t let them get away with something like this! Never! Whether you like it or not we need to work together as best we can to solve this ordeal in front of us!” He hoped this could help the group somewhat, not that he expected anything from it though.
