It was not hard to ignore the sudden announcement - static stirred to life throughout the facility, the unseen loudspeakers cackling with a familiar obnoxious voice from before, Monokuma.
"A body has been discovered! Following a brief period of investigation, we will commence the trial!"
Those words sent a deathly chill down Emile's spine as he stood in front of a full length mirror, his fair skin sunk into a sickly pallor. "Did someone really die?" The ambassador questioned the announcement, hoping it was a mistake on the Monokuma's part. Yet, the young man's instinct knew better and someone had indeed met their untimely demise. The air was no longer stale and heavy than before, but at the cost of the another person's life, Emile would rather suffocate than to enjoy such a luxury. His stomach churned at the thought, the cool air swirling around his standing form as his fingers remained upon a single button of his coat, petrified by the weight of this ordeal. It took some time for the young ambassador to snap back to reality and once he had, his hands went quick to work on his outfit with one button after another before he removed himself from his sleeping quarters into uncertainty.
The walk from the bedroom to the area where everyone gathered was met with unbroken silence, Emile consumed by an anxious mind. For a while, the only sound that echoed across the empty corridors was the light taps of his chocolate colored dress shoes that followed the rhythm of a unheard cadence before coming into view of the others.
"My apologies. Once I heard the announcement, I wasn't sure if-" Emile suddenly stopped dead in his trek, not far from the corpse and the other students as his usual sophisticated self sank further into the pit of his stomach. His light colored eyes remain fixated upon the body, a bit wider than usual while the little color he had upon his skin seeped away. It was there nausea began to settle in, the light senses that tingled at the top of his skull made his vision blurry for a brief moment before the light-blonde student hastily averted his gaze. "This cannot be happening. Not now." Emile uttered beneath his breath, his eyes still closed away from all of it, standing among the group while they spoke amongst themselves.

"Unbelievable, ain't it?" said a voice, obviously Monokuma's. This time it wasn't from the Loudspeakers. Shortly after that the bear dropped down from somewhere up above and landed near the group. His previous Space Pirate Captain outfit was gone and replaced with a simple trench coat with a smiley face button on the left side. His left. Sitting down and leaning back he yawned. "Like a lot of you, I'm just awake myself. Upupupupupu. Believe it or not, one of you did this. Don't try shoving the blame off on me. Hate the Player don't hate the Game, as they say. Take comfort in the gentle breeze that was returned to you by what they did. Perhaps a little Hope before the crushing Despair? Safety at the price of another's life? Equivalent Exchange? Wait, that one's a bit too on the nose." Yawning again he waved his hand. "I guess I should give you this." Everyone's ElectroIDs would make a noise as an Autopsy was transferred to them. Daniel groaned when Monokuma entered the scene once more. Without a word however, he pulled out his electroID when it made a noise to signify what happened.
The Procrastinator read through the details carefully and let out a "Hmm..." Upon hearing the remark that it was one of the fourteen other students who committed that crime, Daniel just said "I could figure that." It wasn't supposed to be interpreted as something mean-spirited, but just as a fact, plainly stated.
"So now we need to figure out who did that and how they did that." Looking at everyone present, Daniel couldn't help but look at Jun. He grinned and said "I guess we can count on you, huh, Jun?" without sounding overly bothered by the whole situation. "Of course, I'm gonna pull my weight too. How about I stay with the body and make sure no one interferes with it? That should be fine, right?"
Of course the Procrastinator had given little reason on why they should trust him. But if he had company as body watch, he wouldn't mind.

I'd rather trust and regret than doubt and regret Jun carefully watched as the rest of the students began to fill up the hanger. Just as he expected there was disgust and disbelief in their faces.
He made note of several students. Raiden appeared to have completely lost it, so Jun marked him down as unstable and possibly volatile.
To his relief Zelda had gotten up, though she didn't make any effort to clear herself of suspicion.
"...N-No...what? This wasn't...it wasn't...why?" The detective mind rang sharp as Zelda spoke. "I'll have to follow up on that at some point" He noted, and continued his wait.
As more and more poured in the reactions they gave did nothing to set them apart. Loud screeches of disbelief, some twat who thought his standing would just make the killer appear out of nowhere. Then there was the reporter, Hiiragi, she tried to calm the situation down by giving a rather hope filled speech.
Finally the last two students had found their way to this unfortunate sight Jun's hunch payed off and as expected their beloved host appeared. And after he held his little song and dance he went and did something useful for a change.. well useful would be too grateful of a word, because once Jun looked at his electroID he gave a displeased look. "Is this the whole report?" He asked, slightly annoyed. Not that the report didn't bring anything useful to the table, it's always a blessing to get the COD of a victim, and could very well pave the way for the first steps in any case.
"Asphyxiation huh? Guess I'll need to take a look at his throat and mouth."
Before he could make any further advancements however, the procrastinator dragged the detective into the spotlight.
"I guess we can count on you, huh, Jun?"
He looked back at the smirking boy with an agitated look. He ruffled his hair and straightened his collar. "Listen here smart ass, if you think you can win this thing by letting me do all the work you're sorely mistaken. Not only because, well let's be real here, I could have murdered our dear classmate here. And second, by only viewing things from one perspective, and only seeing one preconception means you'll never see the whole truth. You should come up with satisfying answers by yourself.." he sighed
With that frankly too long monologue out of the way he loosend up his stance and gave a small smirk himself "So mister Saotome, why is it that you volunteer to guard the body? Did you leave any evidence behind perhaps? Plan on wiping away a few more fingerprints?" He gave the boy a sharp look. "2" he loosend his targeted look on the boy and looked further around the group. Two fingers rose to the air. "A minimum of 2 people shall be required to guard the body. This way if the killer does volunteer to guard the body they have no way of cleaning up, and if you're worried about them killing the other guard then frankly I wonder if you'll survive."
He let out another sigh "As for myself? I'm not going to take Guard duty, im certain there are clues somewhere in this building.." Words: 535 | Tag: No posting order | Notes: created by M of PR

Saying discovering the dead body is a disappointment was an understatement at this point. Kairu was hoping for secret exits, strange relics or even a guardian monster that defeating meant more discoveries. A dead body however meant nothing to Kairu, the history there was obsolete as it was a recent occurrence and not much to dig up. Feeling frustrated Kairu sat down, crossed his legs and leaned his head into his hands. "Not only was I not first to make the discovery, it wasn't even a good discovery!" he huffs in a very frustrating tone. Softly he turns his head to Zephyr's corpse again from his position. "Sorry to see you gone....guy I don't remember the name of."
The other remaining students begun to gather at the space hanger and as expected, they begun to react as expected. There were tears, disputes, hope speeches and even some kind of blame game going on. "So what happens now everyone?" Kairu questions looking up at everyone whilst reaching for his notepad, the question was genuine considering Kairu did not listen to the announcement earlier all too well.
Then as expected the true evil behind this horrifying situation pops up his head, Monokuma. As always, his grating voice felt so taunting. It had been some time since Kairu had faced him, but it was clearly not long enough, either way he kept quiet and started to doodle in his notepad until his electro ID updated itself. "Huh?" Kairu was quick to switch on his Electro ID and glance at the autopsy report, the cause of death, the time of death. Everything was there laid out, but this all meant nothing to him. "ARGH! NO FAIR! THE ONLY BODIES I DISCOVER ARE HUNDREDS OF YEARS OLD! THIS ONE ISN'T EVEN A DAY OLD AND NOW I HAVE TO INVESTIGATE IT?"
Taking a deep breath the Archeologist sighs and begins to ascend back onto two feet. There was no point moaning now, on the bright side Kairu did wonder maybe this investigation is the change of pace that is needed after the last few boring days. Also discovering information about the recent murder could actually be enjoyable and would bring a dream crushing killer to justice.
Following Daniel and Jun's conversation, this led Kairu with two options. Guard the body or go out and look for clues. "I am not going to take guard duty! AN ARCHEOLOGIST IS SOMEONE WHO DISCOVERS! SO I AM GOING TO MAKE DISCOVERIES!" He replies in a boasting tone whilst clenching his fists tight looking to grab any form of positivity that he could from all of this."Also, if you leave me with the corpse, I'll just keep playing with it as I want to discover everything....heh...heh, hate for anyone to think i was covering my tracks.....he he." he quickly finishes whilst smiling and scratching his hair awkwardly.

Naoya Akamura
TAG None WORDS 444 Sorry if this sucks ;; | With white knuckles, and eyes full of rage, he turned to Hibiki. Slowly but surely, people started to arrive in the room, having heard the announcement. The artist had a bit of trouble paying attention to them though. He was just trying to hold back all of his anger. It seemed as though that woman was just satisfied that she was proven right. Seeing the detective, Jun, walk into the hangar made him grit his teeth. Naoya knew he had to stay calm in a situation like this. After all, one of their fellow captives was now dead, and he was the first one here. It didn't look good.
"..If you're just going to act like this, then at least stay the hell out of my-... Our way." He squeezed his wrist, waiting for the rest of the group to finally arrive. It didn't take too long, thankfully, though the site of the body seemed to have a... pretty bad effect on some people to say the least. As soon as Raiden started talking to all of them, Naoya averted his eyes. He didn't expect the guy who was preaching about perfection to fall so easily. He couldn't help but think it was a little sad. All that clamoring for perfection, and he gives up like th-
The artist's head shot up when he heard someone say his name. His eyes narrowed as he noticed who was accusing him of this. Kaoru, of all people. It wasn't hard to put the dots together.
"Hmph.." He kept his eyes off of the tennis player, who he had no doubt was behind this. "I wouldn't believe everything you hear as gospel, Amakaze. Maybe we should actually investigate this murder before you start accusing people." It was pretty obvious to Naoya that he was in a bad position, being the first to discover the body, and being the victim of that woman's little lie.
The bear finally made his introduction, and gave them the autopsy after Emile arrived. Once again, he had to hold himself back from kicking that repulsive bear in the face.
This wasn't poetic.. Not at all. It was the complete antithesis of anything a reasonable person could ever consider poetic. Then again, he knew whatever was behind that bear was far from reasonable. They were probably some sick, sadistic sociopath that got just wanted to watch how people reacted in these situations. Or some organization, doing some experiment. It didn't really matter at the time, with a dead body laying next to him.
"I'd rather try and find whoever committed this, instead of just standing around, making sure no one tampers with it." |

[googlefont="Boogaloo"][googlefont="Great Vibes"] PERFECTION IS THE CHILD OF TIME and i will be that child | Raiden looked between Daniel and Jun, then his eyes went straight to Kairu. Ah, this was just perfect. This whole situation. They were all working so hard, the terror, the despair in their eyes, their worry, their wish to succeed. Such delicious despair. For the harder one falls to despair, the better hope will be when they finally figure it all out. The intense feeling of hope rushing into them as they figure out who did it, why, what happened, the mysteries unfolding. It was like knowing happiness only after a time of great sadness. The happiness was stronger. The hope would become stronger too. Either that or the despair would kill them. But what caught his eye about Kairu was he didn't seem to despair much. That was highly interesting. While everyone else was despairing and falling deeper and deeper into wondering if they could ever get out of here, Kairu just wanted to make discoveries and… possibly play with the body? Regardless of the attractiveness of Kairu's face, such a reaction was so much more interesting. "Hahahahhahaha. Oh Jun, you're such a… funny guy. You suggest at least two to guard the body, but what about when we go to investigate? Tsk. Tsk. Such an elementary mistake. We should travel in groups of at least two. That way no one here can tamper with evidence they find, yes? Everyone should have to group together while they take a look around." Raiden laughed and walked over to Kairu and looked down on the younger boy an insane sort of grin on his face. "Why don't you and I discover the murderer together? I'm sure you won't be impeded by a failure as I am." Raiden turned towards the ones who were freaking out slightly. Iris. Zelda. They weren't in good shape. Ha. Such despair would bring so much hope later. He just would have to try to shove them onto the path of perfection once more. To crumble means a better foundation can be built if the drive is there. But if it was not, another person had to be their drive. Oh, he used to have such a drive until someone ended up killing on his watch. Zephyr was his fault and it was killing him on the inside. The pain of failure, and that failure causing someone's dead, chipped at his heart. The only way he could cope with it was to just accept complete and total responsibility and accept the fact that he could never be perfect. "Come on you lot. You can't just stand around and look around with your hands down your pants. Chop-chop, let's get this game on the road." Raiden let out a chuckle and pushed up his glasses subconsciously, his face contorting into an almost insane look.

Jack could not believe that someone besides monokuma could do this. But then again he did not know them well enough to say that. Jack looked at the body and it still seemed to creep him out to think this person was alive yesterday and now is dead from suffocation. Monokuma claimed that he had nothing to do with this murder. But jack still had doubts about that considering what he has done so far which is bringing peopole here to kill each other. He decided to ask him some things while he was here.
"hey Monokuma I have some questions about this whole situation. Like why have you brought us all here to kill each other for your amusement? How did you even set this whole station up on mars or that robot dog? who are you really a normal person could not do this all alone so who the heck is working with you?

A notification ring made Emile aware of the ElectroID device within the confines of his right pocket and so he dug the item out to look at the received content. His eyes rolled along every line the notification had to offer, only to look baffled at the details. "Asphyxiation?" The student thought aloud, uncertain what to make of the information being presented through the device, "What would anyone be doing in the Space Hanger at 3:42?" It seems there was plenty of questions to ask, but it was by their own motivation to find the answers to this unfortunate incident. A soft frown slipped past Emile's lowered guard while he carefully pushed the frames of his spectacles further up from slipping off. However, to the Ambassador, it seemed as though there was some disagreements between a few other students, one person being Naoya. He glanced up from the ElectroID within his hand to the Artist and gave one last look to everyone currently present at the scene. "As appalled as I am about Mr. Kazuki's sudden passing, we must not forget there is the probability of foul play."
Emile had made up his mind, despite his standing against the idea of an investigation or discovering a possible murderer, and returned the device within his pocket. "We must use this time wisely and instead of tossing careless remarks, we should begin our search for anything that might aid us in understanding the situation. Accusations will come if we gather enough evidence to support such a bold action." With that being said, the Ambassador decided enough time was spent at the scene of Zephyr's discovered body and took his first steps towards the exit of the area only to wait for the rest of his party to take similar action. He did not wish to stay near the dead person any longer than he had to.

[/i]Jeez, somebody was touchy. Grinning at the angry words of the artist Hibiki put her hands up in the universal sign for surrender and took avfew steps away from artist as Kaoru confronted him about the little seeds of doubt Hibiki had planted just on a whim. No rhyme or reason to her actions, it just seemed like a good plan at the time, yeah? Either way, little sensitive Naoya was a little crabby right now at being proven wrong so maybe it would be wise to split before things got worse. She's had (and put into motion) far worse ideas truth be told, and she took another look at the body of the chemist, then at the doorway she had come from and then some of the other kids who were waiting around and not doing anything. Somebody should probably say something in this situation right? That person probably isn’t Hibiki, but she was gonna speak up anyway. "Well. I'm goin first." Because she was going to stay with these dipshits any longer than she had to? Come on son. One of these people killed the chemist, and while he had seemed like a real dick in the short time he had been alive and with the group, she didn't want to hang around any longer just in case somebody got stabby and started offing bitches. Turning on her heels and heading for the way she had come from when she had come across the dead body, Hibiki came to the sudden realization that it was probably best for her not to be here right now "if ya'll wanna hang around here with a murderer in yer midst, be my guest. I'm gonna head off on my own for a bit." She said this like there was nothing at all wrong with this plan and there was no way anyone could possibly object or find it suspicious. I mean hey it wasn’t like one of the fellow... (were they still classified as students? She was willing to bed this wasn’t a part of the school programming) one of her fellow space mates had been found dead, why on earth would anyone object to someone wandering off on their own unsupervised? Especially someone who may or may not have blamed their own shady actions on an innocent party just for kicks. (…Someone should probably stop her.) [/ul]

"Didn't you say you were going to prevent this? What ever happened to your speech. What EVER HAPPENED TO- I trusted that we could... We could save ourselves... And be free... Of this nightmare..." Kaoru was a bit startled by the sudden shouting. He quickly looked over at her. Her tone, it really sounded like she had lost all hope… “I… understand your frustration. I made a promise that I broke… & now we’re here…” He sighed & closed his eyes.
Before he could continue a certain someone entered the stage.
& that certain someone certainly wasn’t pleasant to meet again, already holding a speech as they appeared. Should’ve expected him to appear. The bear really wanted to hammer it in that one of us did this. That somebody among us killed him. The thought that somebody here doing it was a bit unnerving, but there was nothing to do but to hope. To hope that they will be brought to justice. To hope that as many as possible could get through this ordeal.
Something in his pocket made a noise. It was the ElectroID. He checked it. An autopsy, huh? It didn’t include too much information, but something is better than nothing.
Not long after checking out the information given to them he could hear a voice directed at him. "I wouldn't believe everything you hear as gospel, Amakaze. Maybe we should actually investigate this murder before you start accusing people." Oh, so he’s claiming she was lying? Kaoru had suspected this could possibly be the case, especially considering who it was that told him. You couldn’t really trust anybody here, after all. Although he could be lying right now, too. “Ah, so you’re saying that the certain someone who told me this spun a little tale of lies for me? How horrible!” He glanced at Hibiki as she was on her way out. “Don’t you think so too, Hibiki?” He smirked.

She allowed herself to be comforted and pandered to as she stared at the floor. She didn't want to go anywhere or do anything. She just wanted this nightmare to be over.
*Bzzt*
The Electro ID buzzed but she didn't even look at it. She kept her head down hoping that the next time she raised it, the body would be gone. She wanted to lie to herself, but it wasn't going to do her any good.
But she wanted to.
"I... I'll... Stay here...", she muttered out.
And that was all she said as she stayed in her defeated position hoping that everything would be okay.

Monokuma sat up a bit as actual questions came his way. He looked at Jack. "Oh, I guess I can answer a few questions. Why did I bring you here? To have you guys kill each other. It's pretty simple, really. Take a few hopeful kids, throw them into a pot, bring it to boil and see what despair you get. How did I set this place up? I didn't. I'm 'borrowing' this place. As for that Robot Dog, I got it pre-owned. Good as new Giant Robot Dog. It was quite a deal. I mean I was expecting a lemon, you know what I mean? You get a Robot Dog and it's mouth is rusted so it can't bite people in half or it's got a broken leg so it can't chase down your foes. Would buy again."
"Upupupupupu," The bear laughed a bit. "As for the last question... I'm not a normal person. I'm Dis Bear. I hope those answers are good enough for ya."

Standing back as she watched the tensions, Yuukyoku's heart sank more, and that was before her Electro ID buzzed. Pulling it out she scanned the information. It was pretty bare-bones, but that's where the investigation came in, but... she couldn't just stand back there and watch this happen. Putting the it away for a moment she took a deep breath to compose herself. Her last attempt to speak to everyone fell on deaf ears, but that was no reason to stop trying. To let the despair of ineffectiveness take over her would be to let Monokuma win.
"Everyone!" She exclaimed as people began to scatter to go investigate their separate ways. "I... I know that things are tense... The idea that one of us killed him has us all on edge, but to start distrusting each other like this... To be so hostile, even if it's just bubbling under the surface, is to let Monokuma win, to let his despair win. We all need to keep up Hope. Hope we'll find a way off of this planet alive together. Hope that we won't kill someone else again... Hope... The Hope that Hope's Peak is suppose to stand for..."
Hopefully her words would reach someone this time...

"That did not really answer much but it will do. But it does not matter what you say because I am on the side of justice and with it I will stop you."
He hears yuu talking and agrees but he knows that as long as this bear was around there would be no hope. Jack had to find a way to stop him but considering the villains he has dealt with he knows that a frontal attack would be stupid but first he would need to find out what sort of defense this bear has before he can figure out the best way to kill him in the name of justice.
"Though I do have one more thing and it's concerning your rules about not hurting you or the cameras. Could you inform me about how you intend to enforce those rules? Like could you tell me what sort of weapons you have that could stop me from simply killing you right here and now."
Jack hoped that what ever defenses this bear has that Jack could handle this and kill him and get everyone back home safely.
