Penelope was laying or her bed, her head hanging down off the bed along with half of her body. The book she was studying had been discarded on her floor, joining a bunch of other stuff Penelope had not gotten around to picking up. The pile mostly contained drawing for her portfolio for tattoos. Penelope would get inspired at the strangest times and have to draw her vision right then and there. Then she would get too busy to organize and they would end up in the pile.
She had invited a few friends over to study in her room but they had been studying for awhile now and she was sure it was time for a break. The shsl tattoo artist looked up at Kat Von D poster hanging from the top of her room for guidance. The poster seemed to agree with her that it was time for fun. Penelope smiled, then looked down at the framed picture of her sister on the desk next to her. Looking at the picture made her feel guilty and want to try and continue studying. She looked between the two, trying to calm the internal struggle inside her.
Her sister did say that she should try and become her own person here, didn't she? The conversation she had with her before coming here was something to do with finding who she was meant to be. Maybe she didn't mean it like this, but she wasn't here to argue her point of view on the matter.
Penelope got to her feet and turned the picture around to face the wall. She then threw her head over her shoulder and asked, "Who's up for a quick game of truth or dare?"

fear is not an option luck is not a factor,
Ryuu was having a good time at Hope’s Peak. He actually had people who he considered friends, even though he really hated the fact he considered them human, friends, people he wanted to be around. Well, at least a couple of them. And those couple hung around with others, who Ryuu had to hang around if he wanted to be with those select few who he liked to be around.
He had loosened up ever so slightly since he came to Hope’s Peak, not having to think of it as a warzone. For a while he felt like it was still the military and he treated it as such. Now he only used designations when he was trying to repress his feelings. Which happened often enough, seeing as he wasn’t fully adjusted to non-military life and that after school he would just have to go right back into it. He couldn’t relax fully, ever.
Penelope, who’s room he and a few others were studying in, stood up and suggested a game of Truth or Dare. Ryuu scoffed and looked back down at his book, hoping he wouldn’t be dragged into the game. Then again, he kind of hoped that someone would drag him into the game.

| ⇐ Angie sat with her back against Penelope's bed, a textbook held in her hands. Upon hearing the Tattoo Artist's suggestion, she smiled before she brought her attention back to the book, deciding to at least finish reading this one chapter. Something about yet another war that took place in the past, one with all of those pesky dates that needed remembering. It didn't take too long for her to finish the page she was on, partly because she was nearing the end and partly because truth and dare sounds quite fun, if not potentially embarrassing. Still, these were good people. She wouldn't mind if they were the ones she messed around with. Closing her book, she placed it in her backpack and walked over to Ryuu. “You're joining us too, you got that?” said Angie, ruffling his hair as she spoke. “No more burying your head in all those books like you always do.”⇒

"Truth or dare? And Ryuu's in it!? Count me in!" Tamashi was quick to join in on a fun little game. Especially if the ever-so-stubborn Ryuu was playing too. He sat down, and felt happy, at peace. A normal life, normal kids, normal games, a normal school...
When he sat, he took a look around, seeing if there were any more volunteers to join in on this fun reprieve.

Ryuu looked up as Angie ruffled his hair glaring at her, despite the fact he appreciated the fact she wasn’t going to let him sit it out. Ryuu was one of those guys who wanted to participate, and he wanted to have friends, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it on his own. He just wasn’t wired that way. He was wired the way of expendable vs. non-expendable, and designations, not people. This whole friends experience was completely against the last three years of his life and how he had to be in order to be named the SHSL Strategist. The only way he could make his parents proud of him. It was all his fault what happened three years ago and he was just starting to get over it.
“Fine.” Ryuu sighed and stood up, closing his book and looking around at the others in the room, wondering what sort of questions and dares they would come up. Hopefully there would be nothing too… embarrassing. He wasn’t good with the actually answering questions when he was asked about them without trying to dodge them. Honesty was… hard.

[/b] Smiling brightly, the cheerful young man slapped the Strategist on the back maybe a little harder than he intended, a friendly smile from the blonde boy who either didn't know his own strength or overestimated the pain tolerance of everyone else. Not everyone is as strong as you Kenji, God. What's wrong with you "Yo, if you've even got this guy ta agree there's no way I can really say no, is there?"Not without looking like a chump, at least. Folding his legs underneath him, Kenji took to playing with his black chain necklance to distract himself from any awkwardness he may have caused by his blind outburst of friendly aggression. Which, I have to say: best aggression[/ul]

Rin had been sitting in the corner of the room, quietly reading his book, hoping to at least remember some of it before the night was over. As he was finishing the paragraph he was on he looked up, and gazed at the others who were there, his friends. He was lucky to even have one, but he had somehow managed to find his way into a group. Rin smiled, his life at this school was going a lot better than he expected, though it couldn't be much worse than his life was before he came there. But that was all behind him and he was just happy to be there. He finally felt comfortable...
...But then truth or dare was mentioned. That fateful game that every child remembers playing. The game that either resulted in embarrassing secrets or humiliating actions. His whole body tightened at the announcement of this game. 'Well isn't this just great... No. It'll be fine, these are your friends, they wouldn't do anything to embarrass you."
Rin quietly closed his book and placed it on the ground next to him. He stood up, still in his corner, and spoke softly. "Y-Yeah, truth o-or dare sounds...great. I-I'll play if everyone e-else is ok with that..." Riny gave a shy smile, and looked around the room. At all of his...friends.

"Hm...?"
Izumi had been lost in her book, reading a fascinating story of a young woman finding hope for her and her siblings in the midst of a bleak situation. Her fingers flicked gracefully over the tiny bumps on the page, but they paused, lifting up from the paper momentarily.
"I've never played truth or dare before... C-can I join in?" She slid a bookmark onto her page and closed the book, setting it off to the side.

Sitting in a chair in one corner of the room, Naoya peaks up from the text book in his lap. The room had gotten a bit quiet the past few minutes, which gave him plenty of time to focus on the chapter he'd been reading. Frowning a bit, he started messing with the pen in his left hand.
Were they really about to play such a childish game now? Still... the room had been uncomfortably silent for the past few minutes. Though he didn't participate in their banter all that much, the painter did enjoy listening to them.
Sighing, he closed the book and placed it on the floor. At the very least, to break this silence a little. "Well, if everyone else is going to play..."

A section of the ceiling of Penelope's room began to shake as it was pull up into the ceiling. Kumori stuck her head down into the room. "Truth or Dare?" She said before smirking. Pulling her head back out of view she then dropped down into the room, simultaneously putting the piece of Penelope's ceiling back in place so expertly you couldn't tell it had moved at all.
"Sounds fun. Count me in."

Whoa! how many people did she invite over to study anyway? Man, Penelope must have really been into her textbook not to notice. Well it looks like everyone took to her idea anyway, even the girl that might have been stalking them from the ceiling. It didn't bother her though. Weirder things have happened at Hopes Peak. Besides, they were friends, friends would never plan any harm towards each other.
"Great!" Penelope cheered, clasping her hands together. "Hmmmm... who to ask first..."
Penelopes gaze shifted over all her friends. Who should she pick first? So many people to choose from. She crossed Rin from her potential first picks. If she scared him off then the rest of the game she would feel bad. That leaved seven more. This was going to be hard.
She decided against Izumi, she should see how the game is played before going. Six left.
Kumori could have known about that spot above her ceiling for a while and might have blackmail on her. Not risking that. Five more.
Urgh, this was taking to long to try and pick someone logically! Time to pick randomly!
She walked over to where Tamashi was sitting, excusing herself as she pushed through the crowd. Penelope grinned evilly at him, "So Tamashi, Truth or dare?"

Tamashi was taken by surprise for being picked first. But it was a pleasant kind of surprise. It verified she thought of him as a person worth playing something with. Never the less, here comes the decision: Deal or No De-wait. Wrong game. Ah well, he didn't care either way.

Penelopes smile grew once she heard the word dare. She loved it when people picked that answer. Nobody would get their feelings hurt or feel bad. Only pure embarrassment. Her... specialty made this part oh so much fun.
Penelope did not say a word, she just casually strolled over to her closet and picked up a metal box on the floor. Placing the box on the bed she placed herself inbetween Tamashi and the mental container.
"Now, Tamashi, that might not have been the best idea. For you see, I have a very, very evil mind. While my talent may not be helpful in school or any athletic activity, it sure does help me with this."
Penelope grabbed the container by the handles on either end and pulled it into her lap.
"In this metal container is my tattooing equipment. No, I am not going to give you a tattoo... though if you are up for it I will give you a free small one, since were friends." She said, putting a hand on his shoulder. "No, what I am planning is much simpler. Have you ever heard of henna Tamashi? Its like a temporary tattoo, that lasts for weeks. The dare in question is this: let me draw on you with the Henna. Since I am your friend I will give you one last chance to back out before we start. Do you want to switch to truth?"

Penelope was shocked when she heard Tamashi say tattoo. This was going to be way more fun then she had planned! Then she realized that he meant a Henna tattoo. Still, this could be fun. Now all she had to do was pick a design. She could be nice and give him a normal Henna design. A little boring, but she took pride in her work. If he liked it, maybe he would ask for another at a later time! Another option was penises! LOTS AND LOTS OF PENISES!!!! Juvenile, but a classic through and through. Or maybe she could write a phrase, like, "Penelope wuz here!!". It might not be the best idea to put her name on this, in case her customers find out. Decisions, Decisions. Finally deciding on a design, Penelope grabbed both handles and pulled up, revealing its insides. She quickly grabbed what she needed and went to work. First off, she grabbed a little wet cloth from her bin and begun wiping the areas of the face she was going to draw on. Did she mention it was going on his face? Well he knows now. Luckily she already had the paste made a day earlier when she was doing it for some middle-aged lady. She quickly poured it into the applicator and begun to work. Once she was done she got up and took a step back to look at her masterpiece. She thought she did a very good job with it. "The ink has to stay on for awhile, but it is basically done. Just scrape the ink off before you go to bed or else it might make a mess. Oh, and don't run into anything before the ink tales to your skin. Before you take your turn though, what do you think?" She asks, holding a mirror in front of him. [ The design is basically this: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/2a/db/e9/2adbe99abd66026e2e58d7d4391bbaba.jpg Except Penelope could not help herself, and made a tiny dick right behind his left ear.]
