"Remind me to ask for your service more often. Next time, I'll pay. Pass on the phallus though." Tamashi ran through his options. Ryuu would probably be to obvious. Pen just went. How bout....oh! "Rin. Truth or dare?"

Rin had enjoyed watching Penelope work on the tattoo, she really did make such beautiful art. Maybe someday he should ask her to give him a... what did she call it? A henna? Oh yes, a henna.
Rin's heart completely sunk when Tamashi started to speak, he spoke word sthat could seal Rin's fate right here, right now. "M-Me!? T-There's no way...No Rin, be brave. You're gonna be fine."
Rin swallowed hard, thinking of how to answer. Both choices had downsides, if he said truth, and embarrassing secret could come out, and if he said dare, he could be forced to do something really demoralizing. His voice was shaky, as he tried to find the words to say, and the choice to make.
"U-Um..I p-pick, T-Truth..."

Tamashi knew he had to be easy on the little guy. He understood Rin's timidness, he's probably had it rough. He won't ask anything complicated (Even though people want him to), so he'll start out with something he's particularly curious about. "When exactly did you find out you had a knack for puppeteering, where, and how?

Oh good, a question Rin wouldn't feel embarrassed about answering. Its been so many years since he started performing his puppet shows, he sometimes forgets how it all started. Rin cleared his throat and began to speak.
"W-Well it all started when I was about...6 I think. I was o-out running errands with my family a-and, as we were leaving the store, I found an old marionette on the ground. I didn't really have many toys when I was younger s-so I just decided to take it. Once I got home I cleaned it up and started to practice making it move around. After a while I just got so good at it, that I decided to start doing small shows on the street corner with it. I eventually got many more puppets and marionettes and the shows got bigger, and now here I am..."
Rin's usual nervous self seemed to have disappeared while he was talking about puppeteering. Well, it was his passion after all, so it only made sense.
"A-and t-that's about it. W-Was there a-anything else you wanted t-to know?"
And there was his nervous self again.

Well, now Tamashi's curiosity was satisfied, and Rin seemed to calm down. That's best case scenario. "No, thanks. That's all I wanted to know. Your turn". Then Tamashi wore that same warm smile he wore when he first met Rin.

Rin looked up at Tamashi, seeing his smile. Rin smiled back, though it was so small you couldn't even tell. Rin was having fun, he liked that he was here with people that actually cared about him. For the first time in a long time, he felt genuinely happy.
He looked around the room, wondering who to ask. "U-Umm...K-Kenji. Truth or Dare?"

[/i] Kenji, having brought a comic book to this study group of sunshine and friends had gone back to absent mindedly glipping through the pages as everyone stated their desire to join the game and so was only half paying attention to the game going on around him until he was called by name. "Huh, me?"Well obviously, there was only one Kenji here after all. Scratching his jaw as he considered his options, the big skater finally shrugged, because fuck it why not, amIrightoramIright? "Fuck it, I ain't scared. Dare me, bro"[/ul]

Hmm, a dare. Something Rin wasn't exactly prepared for. He certainly didn't want to do anything to humiliate Kenji, but every thought running through his head could end up in humiliation, at least by Rin's standards.
Rin was almost panicked, every decision he could choose had a bad ending..but suddenly it dawned on him. As if some holy being descended from the heavens and granted Rin the knowledge he needed. This dare was pretty harmless, he didn't really think it would humiliate him at all.
"K-Kenji I want you to g-give us a...riddle. A riddle so good that none of us can solve it. I-If that's ok w-with you, of course..."

"Ah shit man, ya know I suck at riddles."
This sucked. Kenji can't help but scowl at himself as he rubbed his chin deep in thought, the big skater trying to think of something he could remember that might fit the criteria he had been dared to fill. As you might imagine from someone who's not...really as smart as some of his fellow classmates, Ken wasn't exactly good at the whole riddle game, so it did take him a minute or two decide on something.
"A'ight. I got one my sister gave me a while back." Taking a moment to clear his troat for dramatic effect, the skater plays with the chain around his nonchalantly as he delivers the only riddle he can think of on the spot:
"There are four brothers in this world that were all born together. The first runs and never wearies. The second eats and is never full. The third drinks and is always thirsty. The fourth sings a song that is never good. Who are they?

"Suck at riddles"
Sure Kenji, sure. Rin was completely stumped, though it didn't help he wasn't good at riddles in the first place. But he certainly didn't expect such a difficult riddle. Rin rubbed his forehead, as if it was in pain.
After a while Rin's mind just went blank, unable to find an answer. The only conclusion he came up with is that the four brother's aren't human, they can't be. No human can drink and still be thirsty, and no human can eat and still be hungry. But that was the farthest he got.
"Well, Kenji...I-I'm stumped. G-Good job. D-Does anyone else have an a-answer?..."

fear is not an option luck is not a factor,
Ryuu watched as the game began, first with Tamashi. He couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear as he watched him get the tattoo done on his face, a laugh threatening to escape when he noticed the figure that Penelope had tucked behind his ear, unsure if anyone else would notice.
However, then it was Tamashi’s turn to go, and Ryuu was almost positive he was going to have to answer the question of the day himself, but then Tamashi surprised him and turned to Rin to ask the question. Interesting. That was surprising, seeing as Tamashi seemed to like him so, even if Ryuu find his personality a little too much for his taste. Still, it wasn’t like he was jealous that Tamashi picked someone other than him. Ryuu actually quite enjoyed learning a little bit about the puppeteer. Knowing people was incredibly important, so he would know how to manipulate them into doing something for him, and following orders when the time came.
However, much like Paris would affect Ryuu later in the future when he would find himself on a ship not remembering his time at Hope’s Peak when he had turned into a much better person, he actually kind of liked Rin, knowing how it was to feel shy and nervous a lot of the time.
Then Rin asked Kenji for a riddle. Ryuu’s ego was large, and knowing that he was the strategist of the group this was his chance to tear down the skateboarder no matter what riddle came his way. However, after a short time, just a split second before Kenji began his riddle, Ryuu stopped himself, deciding that he would let Kenji have this one. After all, it was riddle that his sister gave him, and well… Ryuu didn’t want to dishonor Kenji’s sister, even if Ryuu was all gung-ho about tearing down Kenji himself… Or perhaps it was because Ryuu realized that he would be a jerk, and decided that he would let the skateboarder have this one.
His father would be so disappointed in him.
“That’s a good riddle, Kenji,” Ryuu said quietly looking down into his lap, twiddling his fingers as to distract himself from the fact it felt so wrong to let a riddle go unanswered, despite the fact he knew the answer almost instantly. “You’ve stumped me too.”

Kumori had taken to sitting on the floor as the Truth or Dare started up. It was nice to be able to just relax and hang out with other people.
The game had gotten started and someone had already gotten a henna tattoo. It would be a good thing to remember how skilled Penelope was, not that Kumori could get a permenent tattoo, but in case she needed a decent temporary one. After a step in between they landed on a riddle, and it was a good one. Kumori had to think about it for a moment, but the solution came to her quickly once she was on the right train of thought. "Oh! I got it!" Giving time for people to look over to her before she answered. "It's the 4 elements: Water, Fire, Earth and Wind!" She exclaimed with a smile.

fear is not an option luck is not a factor,
Ryuu wrenched his head up to stare at the one who had just answered the riddle. Shit. No, he knew the answer, he wasn’t stupid. He knew the answer before everyone else! He promised! But it wasn’t like anyone would believe that. Ryuu closed his eyes tightly and soon clenched his fists. He could hear it now, the jeering and teasing and even his father and mother.
Haha, Ryuu was beat by a girl.
Whoa, I never would’ve thought Ryuu could get beat.
How could you be so stupid, son? You’ve disgraced this entire family.
You’re just like her. A disgrace. Maybe you should just die too.
You’re no son of mine.
No! He had never been beaten! He could never lose, even in a simple game like this, and yet the perception would be that he was because he was being nice. Ryuu opened his eyes quickly and released his hands. No, no, no, he had to take a breath. Oh right, breathing was important. He released the breath he hadn’t realized he had been holding, hoping no one had noticed the extreme reaction he had just had, even if very little of it was a physical reaction and most of it was a mental reaction. His face had grown pale and he began taking shaky breaths.
“You did… you did…” Ryuu had to spit the words out. It was so terribly hard, his pride was wounded and he felt like he should just go die in a ditch and no one would ever miss him. “Good, K-Kumori.” No, no, no, he could never be nice again, he could never let something like this go ever. He could never let this happen again. People would think they could beat him now, they would challenge him and it would get exhausting.
He could never claim he was unbeaten ever again. He could never have a perfect record ever again, because no one would ever believe him, even if it was technically true. He just pretended he didn’t know, but no one would ever know that, nor believe that. They would just think that it was his ego getting in the way, the ego making him claim to know something they thought he didn’t. There was no escape. He was a broken strategist. He was worthless. Who would ever want him to be their strategist? He could fail, he could blow their cover, someone could beat him, and this would be offered up as proof.

"Wow, that was a clever riddle, Kenji! I didn't have a clue!" Izumi let out a soft laugh, while sliding a bit closer to Ryuu and resting a hand on his arm comfortingly. "Hey, are you okay? Your breathing sounds funny."

Everything was going so well up to this point. Penelope even managed to draw a penis on someone with them getting angry! She was sure that this was going to be a bonding experience for them all.
It was such a simple dare. Just tell a riddle. It was a good riddle too. Penelope had no idea what the answer was... until Kumori said it. Of course Ryuu must have known as well, his reaction told all. He seemed to be having a hard time handling what just took place though.
"Ok Kenji, it's your turn to ask someone." She said, tryind to get attention off of Ryuu. She gave Ryuu a quick side hug to comfort him.
