Investigation: Hazuki and Aniki

Right, time to get down to business. Aniki's first stop were the rooms, because it was there that the most secrets would lie. Your room had been the safest place you could hide something in, at least, that's what they had all thought until the investigations had unlocked all their doors. There would be no time to hide anything incriminating unless someone had gotten to the scene first.

A quick glance behind him assured the reject that the doll was trailing behind him. That was fine. He just needed a witness with him to ensure that he hadn't done anything to tamper with any evidence or the like. For now, however, it seemed that she would follow him where he went. Choosing to enter Lucca Bello's room on a whim, the reject stopped before the door with the right image placard. Ever cautious, he slowly tried the doorknob, and finding it unlocked like Monokuma had said they would be, he opened the door a crack to peek inside. Nothing. Nobody. Deciding that it was safe, Aniki swung the door open, holding it open in a silent invitation for the doll to enter first before stepping in himself.

Closing the door behind him, the reject first took a quick glance around the room, before heading for the armoire. Ugh, hopefully his search wouldn't turn up empty-handed.

A casual shrug. Sanguene's room was clean, but it wasn't like Aniki had been hoping for anything. Surprisingly enough, Saotome had started her own search while she hadn't lifted a finger in the last room. That said a lot about what she thought about the case, and Aniki hid a smirk. Looked like he was one tiny step closer to figuring out how the doll thought.

One last dutiful sweep for blackmail material as usual, and the reject concluded that his search was over.

Satisfied that no dorm room of notice had been left by itself, Aniki strolled out the door, holding it open once again for the living doll to walk through. Pushing it shut once she was out of the way, he sighed and ran a hand through his hair in thought.

Out of the last two places he wanted to look, the storage room felt like somewhere that would obviously hold a few clues, while the engine room was a complete question mark. Since it was likely that someone had already thought to check the storage room for the origin of the apple, Aniki would head to the engine room first, though he didn't really expect to find anything there either since the place was a little out of the way. Ugh, clean-up duty.

Wait, actually... Had anyone checked Black's room yet? A quick glance in that direction—nope, looked like everyone was still crowding in Angie's room. Aniki was almost tempted to look in there himself to see if he could find anything he could hold over the girl's head, but it seemed like he'd have to go back later since he couldn't exactly liberate anything without tipping the other groups off.

Looked like the Greyson-Saotome duo would be hanging around the dorms a little longer though. In Aniki's humble opinion, Asher Black was a total weirdo. A child in a man's body. Okay, more like a fetus in a man's body; even children understood what death was on some level. The fact that Black didn't was... more than a little mildly disturbing, but overall, Aniki didn't think anything would come out of the search in the kid's room.

Sulking a little that he wouldn't be able to take off for a while, Aniki took his time getting to Black's room and doing the usual open-the-door-for-Saotome-and-close-the-door-after-them routine. With a little more reluctance, he took a look around the room before making his way to the armoire. Clean-up duty sucked when all the good places were undoubtedly taken already.
