It is the first day of school at Hope's Peak Academy. There are many new recruits ready to become the hope of the world, and many returning for another year at Hope's Peak. Each have a special talent, something that they are the best at. They are known as the Ultimates, SHSL students. They are the hope of the world. They are the future leaders of the world. They are the future. They are hope.
However, these beacons of hope didn't know the despair they were about to face upon entering the school... The Town Prologue The Town-Life of DespairUpon stepping foot in Hope's Peak Academy, each student experienced a swirling sort of sensation, as if being ripped from the ground they were standing on, collapsing into darkness.
Upon waking up, 15 students (hold on, they thought there were supposed to be 16, where was the other one?) found themselves on a street with a few quaint buildings around and a large vast area surrounded by a giant metal wall that reached very high. Confused, each student slowly awakens to this confusing place, not knowing despair was about to disrupt this peaceful town of hope. NOTE: There will be a posting order depending on the order each person posts their first post. That posting order will be posted right below this note. Please tag the person who is after you at the end of your post (use the button and search for their name and it'll tag for you). If they do not reply after twenty-four hours, you can skip them in the posting order. If you would like to bypass the posting order to post a reaction, clear it with staff first, and your turn for that round, and that round only, will change. POSTING ORDER: Sasuke, Florence, Finnian, Sayuri, Rin, Erin, Yuki, Koji, Haruka, Ai, Naoya, Rie, Kumori, Ayaka, Izumi, ?

The day has finally arrived. The day Sasuke Sukiyami was going to begin his quest on achieving greatness and be remembered for years to come. The day he finally entered Hope's Peak Academy.
When the long-haired boy entered the school's halls though, something felt amiss. He felt himself losing balance and falling to the ground.
"What is happening?", he thought.
---
When he came to himself, he was suddenly lying on a street, in a place he didn't recognize from anywhere. Apparently, he wasn't alone, as several more boys and girls were lying around.
"This can not be right.", he said to himself. "We are supposed to be at Hope's Peak Academy at the moment, and not here."
He walked around, being careful not to step on anyone.
"Where is this place?"

Whoa.
A few minutes earlier, Florence Ward had stood mesmerized at the gates of Hope's Peak Academy. Yeah, it really did shine with the luster everyone said it did. Students filtered in one by one, their frames disappearing through the doors and into oblivion. In a way...hahaha, no. It wasn't reassuring at all. Would they really...take a Cosplayer seriously? Maybe throwing together outfits just wasn't as good as what some of these students did. While the new class was highly privatized information, rumors did fly like the wind. Like Scarlett Johansenn or whatever her name was flying into the air with an umbrella. Was that Gone With The Wind? Eh, who cared.
The rumors were pretty wild, though. Like really, an Unlicensed Doctor? What?? Who wanted some little girl cutting into them and being like “und dis iz de hart I vil bee zelling dis”?! So in a way, maybe her title wasn't so farfetched. Today was just another average day for the world, but for Ms. Ward, the world was about to become hers. It was a runway, a convention floor, a piece of real estate to be stomped, pummeled, and obliterated.
But as the Cosplayer began her sprint into the doors of the dream, it just as quickly dissipated, leaving her in the dark. To sum up the girl's final thought as they fell through the ground: “Whoa.”
And as she awoke, things only became more confusing. Was this...Attack on Titan?! As familiar as the old village seemed, the metal walls did nothing to assauge her fear. What. The. Fuck. And to make matters worse, she was surrounded by a bunch of other unconscious students. Some were beginning to stir. And, of course, some fucking kid had to step on her. “Oi, you're a sucky alarm clock, bag dude...” Florence rubbed her sore shoulder, shooting a questioning look at Sasuke. “A-ah, sorry. Who are you? Where are we? Is this some weird introductory test or some shit?”
Despite all the evidence stating otherwise, she still had to wonder if one of the others was a SHSL Soldier or something. No Titans today, nuh-uh. All of a sudden, the idea of bringing her Sasha costume didn't seem as ridiculous anymore.

i beg for you to tell me “please don't cry” There was only one reason Finnian had agreed to attend Hope’s Peak Academy. Because Shion begged him to do so. He didn’t want to go to school. School was always during the day, and he much preferred staying up at night. It would force him on a schedule that would make him miss the stars. However, with the face of his one and only friend in mind, he stepped into the school, scared of anyone who he might run into. Who knew? They could be really mean and beat him up. Or they could tease him like the other boys usually did. Or they could strap a bomb onto his chest and he would blow u– ’Stop it Finnian,’ he told himself. He was freaking out over something that could happen. No, he was here to study the stars in more detail than he could before. They had telescopes that could reach out farther than he had ever seen. His eyes were good, his eyes were the thing he most needed, and they were probably the best pair of eyes anyone had ever seen. He was used to suddenly falling asleep, it happened often to him during the day, but when he awoke he normally wasn’t in a much different place. He expected to be in the nurse’s office, because people would freak out since he just suddenly fell asleep, but it wasn’t normal this time around. It felt different, like he had just woken from a sleepless sleep, as if he hadn’t slept at all. And he was in… was it dirt? And above him the sky was bright. Agh. It was still day. Finnian pushed himself up and looked around spotting fourteen others. Hm. This was definitely really weird. What was going on here? Finnian scooted to the nearest wall, of a building nearby and sat, as he waiting for others to wake up. Hm. And people gave him a hard time for sleeping during the day. [ WORDS329]

Upon stepping into Hope's Peak Academy her vision went blurry. Was she losing consciousness? The excitement must have gotten to her! She's so excited that she's fainting! When Sayuri regained her senses she was surrounded by buildings! What was this? It was like some sort of fairy tail where the princess gets abducted by the love of her life because their parents don't approve! Oh, that wasn't the case though was it? Other unconscious bodies were on the street's floor just like she was. How weird, what was going on? "Heyhey! Wake up sleepy heads! Who are you guys? Where are we? Hello? Good morning?" @tagged

"Don't worry Rin, everything is gonna be fine, you're gonna have fun! This place...it's not like home, it'll be peaceful here. You're...gonna be...fine..."
--
Rin's eyes shot open, his head resting on something cold and hard, a stone? Did he somehow pass out outside of Hope's Peak? Well if that was the case then why did he feel so...different? Rin quietly rose his head and rubbed his eyes, and then he saw, he saw the others. There were 14 others there, some awake, but most of them were passed out, like he was. "W-what? What h-happ-" The buildings. Buildings Rin had never recognized. It was at that moment Rin knew that he was kidnapped.
The small boy couldn't get up, his limbs just stayed locked in place, unable to be controlled. The most he could do is sit there and look weak, like always. His breathing got heavier, and faster, and he felt as if he was about to cry. He looked around at all of his fellow kidnapees, trying to see what he was in for.
He tried to say something, anything. But his voice refused to work, the most he could get out were small stutters and some incoherent noises. "W-Wh-W-What h-happened to us...?" But then finally through all of the stutters he managed to say something.

To say Erin was excited would be like saying the sun is slightly bright. Both would be obvious understatements. Never in her wildest dreams did she ever imagine she could go to Hopes Peak Academy! Representing her passion of soccer as the SHSL soccer player no less! She almost didn't even get to go since her parents were afraid of her leaving to live somewhere else at such a young age. She was 15! Besides her sister got to go at her age, why didn't they fuss over her? It was thanks to her sister that she got to go anyway. She managed to convince them, saying she would look after her. Now she is here! One of the first things she has to do is to check out the soccer field. Gotta get use to the new home turf!
Erin heard her named being called out from the crowd. She turned around to see her sister waving enthusiastically at her, smiling from ear to ear. Man, she's never going to get any freedom if things keep going the way they are!
Erin stood there and watched her sister Penelope push her way through the large crowd of people to see her. Suddenly Erins vision began to blacken. Her entire vision turned dark right before her sister reached her.
When she began to awaken she had no idea what had happen. She laid there with her eyes shut, trying to focus. It was especially hard since her head was throbbing. As she slightly turned her arm she felt the grass beneath her. Oh, she must have been knocked out during one of her games. Whoever did that got a fantastic shot in, she could not even remember playing this game!
Erin smiled as she opened her eyes to what she thought would be her overly worried teammates surrounding her. That smile quickly faded once she realized that was not the case. She was in some weird confined town with other unconscious kids.
She tried to remember how she got there. she tried to remember, but it just wasn't working. It frustrated her badly.
She jumped up to her feet and looked around. It seemed like a few of the others had awoken before her. A scowl formed on her face as she crossed her arms. Someone had to know something.
"Ok, what gives?"

Yuki looked back at his parents as he turned around right in front of Hope’s Peak, sending a final farewell wave over his head to his parents in the distance. They were waving back and he could swear his mother was crying. Yuki was grinning from ear to ear and he finally turned on his heel and yanked open the door, announcing to everyone in earshot of his shouts (and he had a really, really loud shout, and that wasn’t even the loudest he could get) that the SHSL Food Critic was here, and that the SHSL Whatevers dealing with food would watch out because they were going to have to live up to his standards. No one had passed his taste test yet. No one had impressed him enough to get a stamp of approval from him. Some had come close, but none had yet.
However, then he felt himself being pulled down, his consciousness slowly fading. The stubborn boy that he was, he fought against the consciousness long enough to see someone slowly approaching him. It was odd, because he didn’t feel himself fall at all, just his vision go black and a muffled sound that had to be someone’s voice. No, he must make his parents happy…
And then he woke up with a start, sitting straight up immediately. He looked around breathing heavily, as if he had awaken from a nightmare. “For fucks sake.” Yuki stood up and looked around, several people still sleeping, some already awake. Where the hell were they? “Get off your lazy asses.” It was a powerful order, and probably the equivalent of a soft person’s yell, though it was his normal voice… At least he wasn’t yelling yet. Though if people didn’t get up soon he might find a way to wake them up. “Where the fuck are we? What the fuck is going on? Or are you going to just stand there and stare at me like a fucking useless piece of shit? Fuck my life.”

[attr="class","stotal"] [attr="class","shover"] [attr="class","stagged"]@tagged [attr="class","sbox"] At last, Haruka was in front of the gates of Hope's Peak Academy. Though, in honestly, she wasn't surprised that it ended up this way. Most of the events of her life - the automobile accident that claimed her flesh. The ruthless bullying she ignored to reclaim her confidence. The campaigning she put together to gain the admiration of her peers. Her rise to power and her ability to stay at the peak of the social ladder for two years. It was only natural that she would be selected to become the best student council president in this nation. It was all part of the plan. Of course, sometimes plans went awry. Sometimes things didn't follow expectations. Only a fool would believe otherwise. But not like this.
Haruka woke up to the feeling of being heated by the ground. It felt like...some sort of odd stone. Pavement, maybe? It was odd. But there had to be a rational explanation. No matter what happened, there was always an explanation for everything that even a child could understand, though it always depended on the person explaining. Haruka unsteadily rose to her feet. There was probably pebbles and stones inside the folds of her school uniform. Wonderful. However, the first thing the girl noticed that she was not alone - there were over a dozen other students, most younger than her, surrounding her, staring slack-jawed at their surroundings, impatiently demanding answers. Didn't these people learn that patience was a virtue? Haruka sighed, crossed her hands over her dress, and waited for something to happen, for something to get explained. It was bound to happen relatively soon.

[attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"]Ai awoke with a soft smile, enthusiasm carried over from long before she found herself laying on the ground. With her head on the cobblestone streets, she opened her eyes and winced, reflexively raising an arm to shield her eyes – the glaring Sun, however warm and lovely, was not something fun to wake up staring to. Pushing herself up, she scanned the crowd around her, stretching as she did so. Her doll Koharu sat on her lap, strings running from her to Ai's five left fingers. It was what she used to control her, though definitely not to the level of a certain Puppeteer. Still, the level of craftsmanship and quality of the doll could be attained with just a simple glance, from the doll's silk blonde hair to the dainty hand-crafted dress it wore. Love in every fiber of it's being, so to speak. [break]
The buildings around them felt like big bad wolves, unsettling the blonde girl's hope for otherwise. “Don't worry, everything will turn out just fine.” whispered Ai, fighting back whispers creeping out from this alien scenery. She stood up, hugging Koharu close to her chest. Some of the people around her were already shouting, something that distressed her greatly. With the blank sheet of paper they were given as an explanation, Ai was someone who took up a pencil and filled it in with her own optimistic thoughts. Throw her in with the pessimistic rabble, it starts to rub her wrong. After all, none of them knew that waking up here was necessarily a bad thing. It could even shape up to be the best time of their lives! People from HPA had a part in this, after all.[break]
Reassured by the thought, she let her doll fall from her hands to dangle freely in the air. With a few small movements of her fingers, Koharu's head turned worriedly left and right. “Don't worry, Koharu.” said Ai, the doll now looking up to meet her eyes. She beamed her a smile. “Everything will turn out great!”[break]
Turning her attention towards a meek looking, purple-haired girl laying on the ground not far from here, she decided to approach her. Koharu followed not far behind. While the doll was always one to be nervous during first introductions, Ai often thought that someone as cute as her really had nothing to worry about. Smiling, she ushered the doll ahead. Softly and gently, Koharu stood on the ground beside the purple-haired, tiny hands raised to cover her mouth in anticipation of their introduction. The doll's innocent eyes looked at the unconscious girl as Ai herself watched the others wake up, trying her very best to keep steady her wavering, shaky smile.[break]

The school building towered over the crowd around him. Sure, while most of these students were either extremely anxious, or excited to run right into that school, Naoya was simply content. Sure, he wanted to be here, but it wasn't anything all that special for him. So, he just stood there with a heavy bag on his shoulder and his left hand on his hip. This crowd was absolutely suffocating for him.
Finally making his way through it, the painter took one step onto the foundation, ready to continue with his life.. the world melted right before his eyes.
Darkness. That's all there was for the longest time, darkness and silence. He'd probably consider that he was dead if he even had time to consider it, but it wasn't long before he heard voices slowly fade in. Some sounded worried, while others simply confused. His eyes slowly opened and he sad up, grunting and rubbing his head.
"Wait.." He took a moment to survey his surroundings, which quickly caused him to snap to attention. "Dammit. Where.. Where am I? Who are these people? What the hell.." For a moment, he almost panicked, but instead, closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
It was kind of obvious that he didn't end up passing out at the entrance and just sleep walked to some unknown town along with about fourteen other students. He couldn't even take the time to admire the town around him before standing up, thinking plenty of pessimistic thoughts. Caution rose in his chest as he looked at each and every person around him, silently. They were definitely students. He even recognized a few of them from the crowd earlier. He clenched his fist, saying plenty of profanities in his mind will keeping a calm looking exterior. Just what had happened to them?

your worst nightmares are my greatest fantasies " Hope's Peak." A magnificent building. Never before have the blue-haired girl seen such a place, a school no less, in person. She saw the pictures, heard the stories and read the testaments of every successful person who had graduated from there. There was that one guy... Maybe the prime minister? Wait- what's a prime minister? Well, she skimmed most of the reading bits. Words weren't important; action was and she was ready to take that first step into her new life. A life free from them, rules and complete isolation. Rie was a good girl and had been for a long time. She changed and maybe people will notice it as well... They had to see it. Rie grinned foolishly, taking one deliberate step after another with a skip to her step. She was feeling really good about today. So free to do stuff in public again, free to eat what she wants or what to watch. Even free enough to feel... Sluggish? She stopped dead in her frolic, looking to her hand as she balanced herself on one foot. Numb. That's what to felt like, especially when she accidentally slept on her arm or when Dr. Murakami stuck her with... "No." The girl put her other foot down with a stomp, protectively reaching for her the joint of her left arm. Nononononononono. She was checked out from there, Rie was certain of it. She got her possessions back from that weird guy behind that check-out desk. For fuck's sake, the air tasted of nature, not the psych ward! She was free! SHE WAS STANDING AT MOTHERFUCKING HOPE'S PEAK! IT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER! SHE WASN'T MAKING THIS UP IN HER HEAD! Suddenly, the blue-haired girl sprinted towards the school, but each step grew heavier than the last. "I'm not going back..." Lines were beginning to blur. Her head was getting lighter. "I'm not going back..." Just five more steps. She could almost hear the footsteps echoing in the hallway filled with voices. "I'm...." Rie mumbled in her sleep, tossing and turning on that unforgiving ground. "I'm not going back." She kicked and thrashed, slamming her elbows in the hard dirt while she fought against those invisible straps. "FUCK OFF!" Rie screamed, sitting up with a wide-eye stare. Beads of sweat rolled down the side of her face, breathing heavily as she glared at everything and... everyone. What? People... Yes, there was people here. Living and breathing people not wearing patient gowns. They were wearing clothes, REAL clothes. School clothes to be exact! Yes! Hehehehe.Rie just sat there, giggling to herself with relief. But, gradually her fit of laughter grew louder and joyous. She was completely elated, laying back down and she wrapped her arms around herself, still at her manic cackling. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~I'm not there. I'm still here~! I'm not there~HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!" She felt the tears welling up at her eyes, feeling the strain upon her stomach and she rolled on the ground from one side to the other. She didn't care who looked or yelled at her. The girl was anywhere, but there. @open || 518 || tl;dr shes really happy MEL @ GS [googlefont="Satisfy"]

Kumori looked at the entrance to Hope's Peak from the shadows. It wasn't the first time some group of people noticed her talents and made her a life-changing offer but at least this time she was old enough to know what was going on. Still, it was something foreign to her, "Normalcy." Actually just interacting with people. Hopefully she would be able to fit in and, as luck would have it, it seemed like her sister was going to be there too...
But as she approached the school building her vision blurred, quickly fading to unconsciousness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kumori awoke but kept her eyes closed and breathing soft for a moment. Someone or something had taken her out and moved her some place. Her hopes of normalcy were dashed. Still, it was best to look like she was asleep until she got a better grasp on what was happening. Whoever had captured her had done a bad job, though. She could still feel most if not all of her hidden weapons still on her body, and perhaps a couple not-so-hidden ones.
It wasn't long before she started to hear others get up and make sounds, a few of them voicing their own confusion as to where they were and what was happening. It was enough to give Kumori enough cover to play along enough to "wake up." She could find out more with her eyes open after all.
Kumori slowly sat up and let out a yawn, taking a look around at the area and subtle trying to get a good idea of the layout. She was surrounded by other students. Some were keeping calm, some were freaking out, one was laughing like a crazy, so it looked like they were all in the same boat. Kumori decided to keep it cool. The last thing she needed was to draw attention to herself, considering it wouldn't be too hard to notice the katana on her back.
fly me to the moon & LET ME LAY AMONG THE STARS "Ah, step into the night to the crowds among the street, / some are happy in their happiness and lonely in their loneliness; / it's spinning all around... like melodies from notes upon the sheet: the rhythm of the music singing–"It had been a bright but wistful dream that Ayaka woke from, one that made her want to smile and cry all at once. But that's just what love was, wasn't it? So gentle it was almost painful, and warm, so warm. Despite the hardness of the cobblestone beneath her, the mangaka kept her eyes closed and clung to the vestiges of her dream, wishing to remain wrapped in that bittersweet warmth for just a while longer. When she finally allowed herself to open her eyes, it was to blink tears away from where they stuck to her lashes. Slowly sitting up, she stared at her surroundings, and inwardly frowned. This wasn't Hope's Peak Academy. Had she woken to another dream? ...A dream within a dream... Inception! Giggling quietly to herself at that thought, the girl pushed herself carefully into a sitting position, legs tucked neatly beneath her. Perhaps she'd take a look around before this dream slipped away from her as well. But oh! Looked like she wasn't alone in this quaint little town. Oblivious to the stranger and more panicked reactions around her, Ayaka brightened, sure that she would come to enjoy this dream. First things first though! Blinking down at the adorable little doll standing beside her, a delighted smile graced her face as leaned forwards to get a closer look, resting her elbows on her thighs. "Wahh, how cute!" she exclaimed softly. Like a little Alice in Wonderland! Oh, what a wonderful dream this would be.
